Q: Do you have a gift announcement?

Q: How often do you deliver?

A: We can deliver as frequently as you would like. However, we can only deliver Wednesday through Saturday and your specific delivery date will depend on where you live.

Q: Can you deliver to a P.O. box?

A: Unfortunately we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

Q: Do I have to be home in order to receive my meals?

A: No. All of our orders are shipped with FedEx  and are shipped as “Driver Release”. This means the package will be delivered to your, or the recipient address with no signature required. Packages can be left at any exterior door, so please be sure to check thoroughly on the day your order is scheduled for delivery. If your are shipping to someone other than yourself, please be sure to notify the recipient that a perishable gift will be delivered to them.

Q: What if I receive my meals and the dry ice has melted?

A: If  your order arrived on the scheduled delivery day, and the meals are still "refrigerator-cold" to the touch, they can be safely stored in your freezer with no reduction in quality.

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: Most orders ship to within 3 to 6 business days from the day you place your order. For more shipping information, please refer to our shipping page.

Q: Can I have my order sent to more than one address?

            A: Unfortunately we cannot split an order to be shipped to two different addresses.


Q: How long will it take me to prepare a Home Bistro meal?

A: All of our Complete Individual Meals are easily microwaveable and ready to enjoy in just 10 minutes or less. Specific heating instructions are on every product you purchase from Home Bistro. Oven reheating times are also provided.

Q: How many servings are in each meal?

A: Our meals are designed to provide enjoyment for one adult serving.

Q: Where do I find ingredient and nutritional information?

A: You can find ingredient, nutritional and other information for every Home Bistro item directly on the product pages. When you select a product page simply scroll down the page until you see the product description and additional tabs. There are tabs to select for 1) Cooking Instructions, 2) Ingredients, 3) Allergen information, and 4) Nutritional information.  Additionally, our product packaging includes ingredients and nutritional information.

Q; How do I prepare my meals?

A: Every Home Bistro item comes complete with reheating/preparation instructions, and all are either microwaveable or easily prepared in a conventional oven. Additionally, reheating/preparation instructions are available on our website on the product pages by clicking the "Cooking Instructions" tab.

Q: Why does Home Bistro make a great gift?

A: Food always makes a great gift choice for holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, a special gift for him or her, or any gift giving event. Additionally, food gifts are often given to new home owners, new mothers and those recuperating from an illness or injury. Home Bistro makes great corporate gifts as well.

Q: Does Home Bistro sell gift certificates?

A: Yes, gift certificates can be purchased on our website.

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate?

A: Gift certificates purchased after July 10, 2013 can be redeemed directly on our website at the checkout. Simply check the "I have a gift certificate" option and you will be prompted for your gift certificate number. If you do not use the entire balance of your gift certificate on one purchase, our website will track your remaining balance.  If you purchased or received your gift certificate(s)prior to July 10, 2013, you can redeem them by emailing customerservice@homebistro.com and requesting an updated gift certificate number.

Q: What if I don’t like something that I receive?

A: Our 100% product satisfaction guarantee ensures you will be completely satisfied with the quality of our products, or we will replace your product or refund your money, whichever you prefer.


Q: I just placed an order online. How will I know that it has been received?

A: Once you place your order and complete the checkout process, the last page you see will tell you your checkout is complete (you will find your order number here as well).  Shortly after you place your order you will receive an email acknowledgement and your order summary.

Q: I don't like to buy over the Internet because I'm concerned about security. How else can I place an order?

A: We use state-of-the-art encryption methods to ensure your security, but you may email customerservice@homebistro.com and we will call you.


Q: How do I pay for my Home Bistro meals?

A: We accept all major forms of credit and debit cards.

Q: What if I have a question about my order?
