Chicken Breast Marsala
Marsala is Italy’s most famous fortified wine, with a rich, smoky flavor that adds depth and complexity to this satisfying, mushroom-studded entrée. Slow simmered, this classic sauce contains a carb count of only 5 grams.
Our test kitchen staff originally developed the rich, amber-colored sauce cloaking this wonderful entrée to match a gourmet ideal so we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was suitable for our dieting and health-conscious clients.

Heating Instructions
Microwave Oven
1. Slightly peel open one corner of the pouch and place pouch on a microwave-safe plate.
2. Microwave on high for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes.
3. Remove the plate from the microwave oven and let stand for 1 minute.
4. Remove chicken breast from the pouch, place on a plate and serve. Discard plastic pouch.
Conventional Oven
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (convection oven to 350°F).
2. Peel open the pouch and place the chicken breast seared side up into a small baking pan. Use a spoon to scoop out the remaining sauce from the pouch and place it on the chicken breast. Discard the plastic pouch.
3. Place the baking pan in the oven for 18 to 22 minutes.
4. Carefully take the baking pan out of the oven and serve.
Caution: Pouch and contents will be hot.
