Be WineWise with DineWise

But how do you know if your Riesling complements our delicious Home Bistro Grilled Salmon in Chili Hollandaise Sauce or does a Zinfandel go perfectly with our Chicken Florentine with Rice Pilaf and Yellow and Green Beans? Wine Serving General Rules of Thumb

You don't have to be an oenologist to select and enjoy wines that go perfectly with your DineWise chef prepared meals. Before we get into some specifics, here are some very helpful guidelines to follow:

White Wines go with just about any type of DineWise food, including appetizers.

Red Wines are better suited for beef, pasta with sauces, and strong cheeses.

Blushes go with the same types of occasions as white wines and light pasta dishes.

Champagnes are often served at brunches and make an excellent dessert selection.

Serve white wines and blushes between 55-60 degrees and red wines between 62-67 degrees.

When serving more than one type of wine, serve white before red, light before heavy, dry before sweet, and simple before complex.
